UMO Workshops: Theater In Motion

UMO recently completed a successful six-week residency at the University of Southern Florida, as well as teaching at Cornish, Evergreen, Amherst, Bowdoin and over 1000 workshops and educational offerings in the past ten years.

UMO is a six-member physical theatre ensemble that creates collaboratively through improvisation to develop vital, dynamic and multidisciplinary performance. UMO uses masks, movement, music, aerial and balancing acrobatics, puppets, text and character in the styles of Mask, Buffoon and Clown theatre as seen in El Dorado, Body Inheritance, Expressions of the Spirit, Caravan of Dreams, Millennium Circus and Cities: Conversations in the Court of the Khan.

For the past ten years, UMO has toured theatres, festivals and universities both nationally and internationally.
